We are busily preparing for our stand at this year’s Alzheimer’s Show 2015, the designated exhibition for people with dementia. Held this year in London Olympia on Friday June 5thand Saturday June 6th, it promises to be one of the biggest and best sources for the latest information, products and services currently available.
Anna Terry and Simon Birtles, directors of Activities to Share, will be available at our stand, packed to the brim with activity products that promote physical and mental health and wellbeing for older people.
Anna will also be giving a 20 minute presentation about the positive effects of keeping older people engaged with activities, particularly those with dementia, and will demonstrate some of our innovative products. Come and see our exciting new product range and have some fun hands-on experience! You can also pick up a copy of our new catalogue – due out at the end of April.
Now in its third year, The Alzheimer’s Show is invaluable for anyone who works in a care or nursing home, day centre, hospital or who has a family member or friend with dementia. If you are able to bring someone along who has dementia, a free hour of support is available in the SweetTree Quiet Room staffed by a specialist dementia team. An Admiral Nurse is also available for a one-to-one consultation if required.
Daily tickets start from £9.00* for a Concession (in receipt of Disability Living Allowance or Registered Disabled) or £10.00* for a standard adult. Group bookings of 10 or more can enter for only £8.00*. Tickets purchased on the door are priced higher. Hope to see you there!
