 Activity Ideas:
  • Create your own farm display - line a shallow box or tray with straw and use cut up boxes for 'stables'. Use a selection of farm animals to stand in groups. You can even add some farm family. Have a group discussion about farm experiences during childhood (Land Army, school visits ...)
  • Make animal shapes with cookie dough or Modelling Clay.
  • Stuff old clothes with straw to make a fun garden scarecrow. Make a head from an old pair of tights stuffed with straw. Sit him/her on a garden bench or chair. Give your scarecrow a name. NB: If you have a sturdy post to attach it to, hang bird feeders from the arms to make a great feeding station!
