Colourful, fluttering scarves with mini crunchy bean bags. A perfect sensory experience, ideal for older people as the scarf slows the speed of the beanbag. See product video below.

Activity Ideas:

  • Sit players in a circle and throw the bags to the person on your right. Vary this game by throwing a large dice and throwing as many times as the number states. Can be varied by throwing across the circle instead.
  • One person throws all the bean bags in the air and calls out a colour - the person to catch that colour scores a point.
  • Use as a slower game of tennis.

A wonderful combination - colourful, fluttering translucent scarves with mini crunchy bean bags. Perfect for older people as the scarf slows the speed of the beanbag, making them easier to see and easier to catch. Helps to improve manual dexterity and may jog memories of the playground - especially for those with dementia or Alzheimer's.

They can be used as an alternative to fabric-only scarves in sensory activities or in place of beanbags in throwing games.  A fun way to exercise either in a group or one-to-one.
