Why not create outside in a garden or park – take a damp cloth for any spills. When they are all completed, why not get people to give theirs a name and write it on a plant marker and then put them around the garden with their name next to them.
Activity can be extended by maybe having a discussion about whether anyone/family member used garden gnomes in their own garden. Discuss what makes a great garden and what games did people enjoy playing as a child e.g roly poly down a hill/ kiss chase/ tag/ cowboys and indians etc.
