• Wool can also be used to embroider motifs to add interest to a jumper – use a plastic needle with a large eye for safety.
• Why not knit oblong shapes (approx 25cm x 8cm). Wrap around a mug and sew edges at the top and bottom edge to allow room for the handle – great mug cosy.
• Make a pom pom decoration to edge a cushion or attach to a zip to help find the end for anyone with a sight impairment.
