In addition to the contents, you will need:

Clean tins with no rough edges or jam jars (From the kitchen)

Share out the egg shapes, bamboo sticks and material to your group and put the petals in the middle of the table or in small heaps amongst the group.
Pour the paint in to dishes and put around the table – this is for painting the stem, tin can or the middle of the flower can be painted rather than adding material. Have an extra bowl as mixing green and orange you get brown and that is good for sunflowers or lilies.
To assemble the flowers:
Push the spike end of the bamboo stick into the base of the egg shape
Choose a piece of material, peel the back off and place the egg shape in to the centre of the material and smooth the material over the shape and wrap around the top of the stick – just like a lollipop wrapper. You can cut any excess material off if you want to.
Your bud is now ready to add the petals too, pick out the colours and starting at the base glue the petals to the material all the way around, you can add layers like a rose or leave as a single layer
Once the flower is made, you can paint your bamboo stick by holding the flower head, then leave to dry
While your flower is drying, decorate the container it is going in, paint a tin and then stick the adhesive ribbon around the tin
Add stickers to jam jar or tie a piece of ribbon around the neck of the jar
Once everything is dry, place your vintage flowers inside your decorated container and add in some foliage from the garden or park, place on dining room tables, or in the reception area, hang the Vintage Flag Bunting and you are all set for Spring & Summer Events.
