Activity Ideas:
- Using the Meccano brochure, talk about what people made with their sets – give pieces of a Construction Set for them to use.
- Make a list of popular children’s TV shows of the time eg: Thunderbirds, Bill and Ben the Flowerpot men, Andy Pandy, Tom and Jerry, Dr Who, Star Trek, Pinky and Perky etc and print out images for people to try to match.
