- Place animal coat cards face up but all the animal picture cards are face down in a stack. Each player takes a card from the stack and has to describe the animal. Person who correctly identifies it keeps both cards. Winner is the player with the most cards at the end.
- Animal coat cards are face up on a stack. The animal picture cards are randomly placed face down. Players select and turn over one card and see if it matches the one on the top of the stack. If not, place it back as it was, if it matches, keep both and winner is the one with most pairs at the end.
- Place all cards face up. Players discuss and group which animals can fly, have a beak, have spots, stripes, a long tail etc. Can be played with any number of players.
