This quiz mat is an invaluable group activity for a care home, day centre or hospital – players can choose from either general questions or personal memories – a great way to evoke reminiscence and encourage conversation. Just throw the beanbag to land on a category of your choice.
Questions are designed to appeal to people of all abilities: 1950s – Who rocked around the clock in 1954? (Bill Haley), 1960s – What roared into the air on its maiden flight in 1969? (Concorde).
Each decade is colour coded in vibrant shades and text is in large bold typeface to aid those with a sight impairment.
Question cards are also colour coded and are in large easy-to-read print.
