Activity Ideas:
- One or more players can sort the playing-stones in a row or into a six-stone field. Firstly the same coloured-playing-stones can be arranged together, followed by the areas being filled with one playingstone of each colour.
- A player fills the wooden frame sorted by colour or by the Sudoku principle with the jewel stone counters.
- All the wooden counters (with the jewels face down)are put on the table and shuffled. In turn, a player turns a counter over and according to the Sudoku principle puts it into the wooden frame. The opposition must see if the counter has been placed correctly. If a mistake is noticed and the player has made a wrong move, he/she has to remove the counter from the board and place it, jewel side up next to him/her. He/she is only allowed to move this counter after all the other counters have been turned over and put down. If a player is unable to make a move with his/her chosen counter, he/she keeps the counter, jewel side up at his/her side of the board. The winner is the player with the least number of counters left over at the end of the game. 4. Advanced Players From 5 years onwards When a player has put all the counters down in the grid correctly, the players can in turn try by moving the counters horizontally or vertically into the adjacent boxes and therefore place another counter. When moving a counter the Sudoku principle must be kept. Sometimes it is possible to place several counters in the grid having moved just one
