Billy is a sensory companion pet cat that is more than just a cuddly companion, he can become a hand puppet, can be a hand warmer or a sensory experience too.
Our soft, fluffy sensory companion pet cat comes with an internal sock for your hand, plus a pouch filled with granules that add weight to make him feel like a real cat and a spare pouch that can be filled with sensory items such as Lavender for relaxation or wheat to warm in a microwave and turn him into a hand warmer.
If you are not a cat person then we have Brando the Dog as an alternative.
- Using the spare pouch, play a guessing game by placing items inside the bag for the person to feel and guess what it is (teaspoon, comb, toothbrush, pine cone).
- Provide a soft brush nearby to allow the person using Billy to brush his fur. The rhythmic action can be calming.
- Gather some pictures of different cats (different breeds, lion, tiger, lynx, Tom & Jerry, Sylvester) and talk about them. You could involve Billy by asking if Billy would want to be friends with any of them, scared of, laugh at etc.
